Hello Users! The 5th Technical workshop about Stakeholder engagement in MSP will take place online on the 8th of November 2021, starting at 9:30 am.
Engaging key stakeholders in the development of plans is essential to encompass issue identification, evidence gathering, consensus building up to monitoring and evaluation. MSP aims to reach outcomes affecting different sectors of society (social, economic and ecological) and should therefore reflect major expectations, synergies or conflicts occurring in the MSP area.
Stakeholder engagement in MSP is a complex asset of the plans due to the great number and diversity of maritime stakeholders in different levels (horizontal and vertically). Furthermore, MSP is a relatively recent process and, as such, many actors are still unfamiliar with it, also, identification of relevant stakeholders is not always a simple task. Eventually the transboundary dimension can represent an additional challenge to the engagement. Make sure to discover the full agenda and stay tuned for the results of this workshop!
